There
are 3 ways to give us an idea of the color of your hair:
Hair
Ball:
this is what we prefer more than anything, because you are not actually
cutting a piece of your hair. just clean out your hairbrush and put
it into a sealed clear bag. Then, just send it along with your order,
there is no hair cutting involved.
Hair
Swatch: cut
a small piece of your hair at about 3 inches long and about as wide around
as your pinky or smaller. we recommend the hair ball method more,
because you are not cutting your hair that way.

or
snail mail us a photo of your hair taken in natural lighting (aka sunlight),
sunlight gives us a true color. The hair ball or swatch method is
more accurate.
Send
